Cathal Brennan dubbed his last game against Legends the most nervy game he has played in his 6 seasons in this league.
'This game is up with the 0-0 draws with Totaal where a goal could have fallen into the net out of nowhere and the 1-0 away victory which won the first season against Hun Haters.'
A loss for the Bullies would have spelled another year in Division 2 but Cathal Brennan believes that it was experience and hardcore knowledge in this league which led them to victory against Legends.
Loyal sources are revealing that Legends' manager @peace made a cheeky bid for Toini Vasama before the game, trying to trade his goalkeeper, Gordon Banks. The catch was that the deal had to be completed before the game.
The Bullies dominated the game and inflicted only Legends's 2nd loss in 17 matches. 35 year old Dominic Smythe bagged the man of the match award after his goal and assist set off fireworks in Bulldog HQ.
I was so nervous that whenever I logged on to Xperteleven, this is all I could think of, this match. I am extremely delighted that we won in comfortable fashion.
To seal our promotion we need to beat Juventus which on paper looks an easy game.
Cathal Brennan left the press conference demanding his pitch staff to cover Bulldog HQ in A4 sheets of paper.
"@peace out"
