Kensington Boys Club were tactically beaten by visiting Kirkbride Strollers but managed a great game. The Strollers were only allowed one shot at goal and Captain Jacobs struck his first of the season to bring the victory to the Boys.
"I got off a good shot after de Vere served it up brilliantly. I've had a poor season behind me but it feels like a new beginning for the club right now and we are ready for anything in the cup" said Jacobs after the match.
