Yorkshires Amateurs went down 3-1 earlier this week to a clinical Real Madrid. Madrid scored with every one of their three chances in a game that sums up the Amateurs sorry season. The Amateurs have played well in a number of games this season and not got what they deserved, this game being a perfect illustration and microcosm of the season at large.
Hopefully they will be able to mount a promotion challenge next term and be much more capable of competing, this promotion looks like it came just that bit too soon.
