Yorkshires Amateurs limped out of the top division this week with a game that really summed up their season. They more than matched The Vikings, their more illustrious opponents but were still on the wrong side of a narrow 1-0 defeat.
The Amateurs actually lost over a quarter of their games this season by 1 goal to 0 and had lady luck smiled that bit more often they may have been celebrating staying in the division.
Manager Danlufc13 was quick to congratulate Eagles on his title winning season but he must now plot his teams return to the top flight in what is sure to be a very competitive division 1.
