United back to winning ways?

Underdogz United recently got their campaign to survive in the RM Invitational back on track as the Blues defeated Hun Haters 5-1 at Scotlands Shame. The exciting young midfielder, Nani, was on the scoresheet for United first as his 29th-minute long range shot dipped and swerved into the top corner, leaving Artur Boruc stranded and open-mouthed on the other side of the goal. Zlatan Izuhimovic then got on the scoresheet shortly after the restart as he received a pass from Ricardo Izalho and made space for himself in the penalty area to slip a shot past Boruc.

A couple of minutes later, goalkeeper Izu Casillas was on the scoresheet as he converted a penalty which he earned himself while on one of his usual runs all the way up the pitch. Casillas would have liked to keep a clean sheet but, out of breath as he was with his offensive runs over the last half an hour or so, he could only fling himself half-heartedly at the ball as Iain Emery converted a corner for a consolation goal.

Jimmy Meire was also at fault for his own side as he gave away a freekick and earned himself a booking in the 77th minute. Robin van Izu then got involved with a late assist and goal as he set up Cesc Izukas from the freekick before shooting past Boruc in the 88th minute from a Cristiano Izuldo pass.

Underdogz United will next host Tranmere as they look to keep themselves safe from relegation before facing a tough task as The Vikings travel to Surprise Stadium.
