Yorkshire Amateurs are still the team to beat in Division1 this season, despite being 2nd in the league and 3 points behind the league leaders Pahang United. Pahang showed why they are a stubborn team to beat with 4 points from last weeks games scoring 2 goals and conceding one in the process. Yorkshire need to turn the ball into the turn more often if they wish to continue battling for the title. The quality is there amongst the players however they have drawn too manny of their games this season. The rest of the league is being closely contested as well, only 3 points separate Real Madrid from Hicktown Hillbillies in 3rd place, yet only 5 points separate Real Madrid from the bottom of the league. The teams are packed densely in the league as we approach an exciting week for the division. All is still up for grabs, the games of the week for me are:
10/11/09- Yorkshire Amateurs vs. Real Madrid
10/11/09- Villarreal CF vs. White Hawk FC
13/11/09- Pahang United vs. Bonkers
13/11/09- Real Madrid vs. Kensington Boys Club
Will Aran Garabedian score enough goals to sink Yorkshire Amateurs and fire Real up the league, keeping himself on top of the goal charts? Will Pahang continue a run of tight encounters and stay on top of the league? The league has so many questions that can be answered in the next week.
