The 1863 Fortress was packed well before kick off as both managers going into this game had high expectations.
Mighty Mojos's new manager Joshy had shared his recent concern regaurding his clubs disciplinary problems. Todays match was only going to add to that concern for within 13 minutes both Edmund Izzet and Lenny Puttock both found themselves the ref's book. Kit Edwards becoming a victim of some poorly timed tackle. In the 20th minute Mighty Mojos's yellow card tally went up to 3 as Jayden Stevens joined the list. Late on in the first half Mighty Mojos had a couple of half chances but were unable to break the deadlock both teams looking equal going into the break.
As the second half got under way it was clear Joshy had a stronger half time team talk as his side came out after the break looking the brighter of the two teams. Mighty Mojos also looked much more disciplined as the tackles now looked much better. In the 59th minute the away faithful went nuts as Ferdinand Quinn lobbed the keeper but before he even had time to run off and celebrate the linesman flag was up, Joshy looked on, totally stunned as the offside call did look very doubtful. In the 70th minute Michel Montolio hobbled off and things started to look like one of those days as Mighty Mojos started to edge the second half but having nothing to show for it. In the 76th minute the ball was passed into the box and in some school match like goal mouth scramble Nelutu Cristea found himself the unlucky person as the ball clipped his leg wrong fotting the keeper. The Mighty Mojos faithful burst into pandemonium. The players looked relieved as they finally found a way past 1863 Munich. 0-1 the score and on the 79th minute the home side notched up their first meaningful chance on goal as Eliott Malloy's lobbing header smashed into the up-right. As the clock ticked down Mighty Mojos looked odds on favourite to win the match but in the 93rd minute in what would turn out to be one of the last kicks of the match 1863 Munich scored a dramic last grasp equalizer. Eliott Malloy smashing into the back of the net following a tidy corner. The home fans were delirious with joy as Joshy's body language said it all. After some calming down Joshy had this to say...
" We were very evenly matched in the first half. The second half however i think we edged it and i feel we deserved more then a draw. Some poor decision making has ultimatly cost us 3 point here today Ferdinand Quinn was never off side even a monkey could of told you that. The lads went about their stuff well today despite some bad luck but i hope they have completed their card collection things will get tricky if we keep this rate of cards up. "
A little later on just before Joshy left the interview he asked off mic which team they were playing next and when pointed out he was playing the same team again he laughed clearly revenge will be on his mind.
