Vikings enjoy good start to life in top division.
We caught up with Vikings manager Eaglesrjh earlier today to discuss the season so far.
"Well i've got to say that if someone at the start of the season had offered my 14 points from my first seven games in this division we would have snapped their hands off and taken it!" said the manager "We are delighted that we are already 13 points above the relegation places because in reality thats where we expected to be fighting this season. In reality we are actually only 2 points off top spot and whilst we dont think we can win it this year it's nice that we feel we are already not looking over our shoulders at the trap door!"
"This scenario means it will be easier to introduce youths into lineups without fearing what it will cost us end of season, that said if suddenly we lose a few games and the bottom 3 start to pick up points then we will have to be careful not to get sucked back down, but all in all it's been a fantastic start for the club in the top flight"
