New boss Joshy of Mighty Mojos still showed at smile at full time despite going down 2 - 1 at Mosquito Alley to Alsancak F.C
Eoghan Millare opened the scoring just after 9 minuets for the home side and then 4 minuets later almost doubled their lead when John Burston's pile driver shot almost cracked the upright. Around the 22nd minuet things were all sqaure as defender ace Jayden Stevens scored for the visitors with a spectacular diving header.
At half time it was 1 - 1 and the visitors just about shaded the first half but Alsancak F.C's half time team talk did wonders for in the 66th minuet Rory Burston watched his fine looping effort sail over the keeper to give the home side a much deserved lead. In the second half Alsancak F.C were in controll and the visitors saw themselves go down to 10 men with moments left after Terrance Norman was shown a stright red card for brutal play late into time added on. Mighty Mojos might of edged the first half but Alsancak FC were in controll in the second half. In the post match interview Joshy had these comments to say about the match...
" It was a good spirited first half as we traded blows evenly but in the second half we let it get away from us. I have seen plenty of good signs however and i look to build from the possitives. I will be having words with Terrance though such violent play is not supported by myself or any other players at The Mighty Mojos. "
