A rather boring 1-0 home win against the lone wanderers helped Carthage FC stretch their lead at the top of Division 2. Carthage have now opened up a 3 point gap, and are favourites for promotion this season.
Blakey0500 is cautious after only winning 1-0 at home, with the reverse fixture next up Carthage Fc will have to up the anti in order to get the 3 points, however Blakey0500 is confident his team will march on.
Marcus Spillane has shaken off a niggling injury and Carthage's Star player is back in the selection line up for the second half of the season. Spillane refused to comment on whether this will be his last season at Carthage, will the lure of Division 1 keep Spillane from early retirment? Time will tell.
