Totaalvoetbal produced two strong home performances to take six points from fixtures against AFC Stanley and West Brom Strollers.
Totaal had an excellent first 45 minutes against Stanley to lay the foundations for victory. Goals from Rodney Shuttlewood and Pierre van Diemen left the visitors 2-0 down at the break and although they pulled a late goal back through Enrico Fuentes it would be the Dutch celebrating at the final whistle.
On Friday Ike Dyer returned to haunt the Strollers as Totaal finally got one over on DD’s side with a 3-0 victory. In an inspired performance Dyer scored two headers and a shot from inside the penalty area to leave West Brom beaten.
Meeblind was a happy man after the games:
“I have full respect for Markham and Dinky so to take six points from those fixtures is beyond my wildest dreams.
“I fully expect both sides to be in the shake-up at the end of the season. To be honest I'm just really enjoying the challenges this term.”
