Cressex Crushed

Town News

Morley sent out an emphatic warning to their promotion rivals with a stunning 7-0 away victory against FCR Cressex.

Morley decided to go all out for the win right from the start and were rewarded for their ambition with a freekick after only a minute but Art Boyle shot straight at Clooney. Morley continued to press and had another freekick saved before Kwekeu grabbed his first goal of the season to open the scoring.

Kwekeu turned provider as his cross was met by Boyle who powered his header home, Morley went three up through Ashe on 31 minutes, Cullip's corner was lobbed home by Ashe for his sixth of the season.

The ever impressive Dustin Wotton bagged his fifth of the season only a minute after the break, his well placed header evading Clooney in the Cressex goal. Kafka headed in a fifth two minutes later. Morley looked like they would score every time they went forward and added a sixth on 56 minutes, Art Boyle hit his second of the game with a placed shot from the edge of the area.

Dustin Wotton rounded off the scoring with his sixth goal in only three games to totally destroy Cressex.

Morley play Jammas AllStars on Friday, Town fans will be hoping their team can continue their impressive run of form against an AllStars team with only one win to their name this season.
