Mighty Mojos going into this game were missing a few first team members due to a combination of injuries and suspension. But still the bookies had them down for a home win.
Mighty mojos started the match with passion and set the standard when only 2 minutes into the first half Jayden Stevens saw yellow which was just 1 of 4 Mighty Mojos picked up in this match having had players sent off in their last 2 games in a row. Mighty Mojos seemed to have the better of the chances and started finding their passing range and in the 26th minute Michel Montolio found Timotei Buta with a delicate chip pass and he whipped in a curling effort which beat the keeper giving the home side the lead at 1-0. However the home side could not even hold onto the lead for 8 minutes later, via a fast paced corner Herbert Stigsson passed to Andreas Sommer who found himself in space and had tim to pick his spot making it 1-1. On reflextion to the first half it was a fair result so far. After the restart The Mighty Mojos looked like the side more likely to find a winner as they started producing some fancy football but alas with no finish to match. Mighty Mojos day was summed up for when in the 91st minute centre forward Timotei Bute hobbled off the pitch. Now for their next league match Mighty Mojos will be without Bute and Michel Montolio who will serve a one match ban after picking up his 3rd yellow card of the season it finished all sqaure at Mojo Arena 1-1. After the match Joshy had this to say...
" It was a match we could of won but failed to do so. Now we face a uphill struggle as we are down to the choice of just 2 centre forwards we have no room to be picky. We must put this match behind us and practice on the training pitch some more so that we can make the most of the chances we get infront of goal i do hold high exspectations for our next match. "
