Heads were spinning after the recent clash between AFC Stanley and Santos. What seemed like a comfortable lead going into the second half lead to a flurry of goals that left Santos and their supporters visibly stunned.
This hasn’t been the first instance of a comeback between the two teams. Stanley earlier produced a 5-4 thriller in Season 3 in the RMI. This game was no different with Stanley scoring in 3 consecutive goal spurts.
Manager Sean7 was surprisingly demure after the game. He didn’t offer much analysis to the game, other than crediting Stanley for their win, and that ‘heads will roll.’
An uncharacteristic move by Sean7, as the last defeat this large, he threw a boot at defender Yogender Pragurd. It is to be noted that this time around, that no boots were thrown, no socks stuffed down anyone’s throat, and no one was choked with their own athletic supports.
Or so we hear.
