Half-Way Point

We have now reached the half-way point in Morley Towns second season in the RM Invitational and they find themselves in a much better position than they were at the half-way point of last season.

Last season Morley were rooted to the foot of Division 2 without a win and team morale at an all time low, what a difference a season can make though, Morley battled hard and finished the season 7th.

Morley were one of the teams to have profited from the expansion of the RM Invitational and were effectively promoted to Division 2 for the start of the current season.

The Morley players have seized the opportunity with both hands and now find themselves 5th in Division 2 after their recent 2-0 away victory against 4th placed Kroklund Kings.

Morley face the Kings again on Tuesday in the return fixture and a victory would see Morley leapfrog Kroklund into 4th place, tickets are all but sold out for the crunch fixture.
