Barry Painter was an unlikely hero as the game versus Carthage once more was going down the toilet. Carthage totally dominated the midfield but never looked fatigued even in the second half but justice had to give way to a Eton-bred leftback with a quiff in the dying moments of overtime.
Kensingtons rivals, with the exception of Charlottenburg, all collected 3 points which leaves the Boys trailing at fourth place. A truly dramatic encounter awaits them on Friday as they take on the division leaders, as promotion is the goal for this season.
We also welcome a new Boy to Kensington in Samson Lockwood, who will be replacing Jeremias Bray as the club strive to improve for the future. Jerry Bray was of course injured in the last encounter with Charlottenburg and has never fully recovered even though the fans really did care for him.
