Manager finally admits "we are in race"

Viking Land news can exclusively reveal that manager Eaglesrjh has for the first time this season admitted his side are in the promotion race.

When questioned after his teams latest victory he said "Well we are playing well and today the top 3 all lost and suddenly we are only 2 points behind 3rd and 3 behind second. We seem to be far enough away from the relegation battle now so I guess we can now look upwards instead of downwards! We are in the race, but I still dont expect promotion. The top 3 are still very strong and Three Lions FC are still in the race as well as they are level on points with us. We will do what we always do, go out and try to win football matches, we will see where that takes us but we will need to produce some big wins to do it. We still have matches against West Brom, Arsenal and Three Lions and we will need to take max points in these if we are to get promoted"

"We also need to find time to ensure all youths get their match experience. All 3 keepers have 100% but the rest of the youths will still need some games to get to the magic figure" "This is still the priority for the season and if promotion is not achieved because of it then tough! This was a development season and promotion would be a bonus but as long as the team develops how I want them too then thats when i'll be happiest!"
