TCM ensure they don't get stung

These Charming Men today ground out a solid win 1-0 against Glory Hornets. The win made it 3 clean sheets on the bounce with 14 goals scored by an in form TCM.

The match started badly for TCM, Defender Jon Turnbull having to leave the field due to injury not long after kick off, Calvino Arribas taking his place.

Chano Delgado had an opportunity soon after but Hornets keeper Ashton Rosbotham just had to watch the shot fly high over his goal.

In form defender Constantino Gris broke forward for TCM o 22 minutes, set up with a delightful pass from Jordi Rodri, the rocket shot bounced of the woodwork before being safely caught by Rosbotham, The groans ringing out around Irregulars Arena.

The Hornets nearly stung a couple of minutes later when Lionel Monk drilled the ball against the TCM woodwork.

Neither side could break through and a dull first half ended 0-0, Jacobson fired a free kick just over for TCM after the break and it took until the 78th minute for TCM to finally break the deadlock with a delightful goal from Juan-José Galiano.

The Hornets tried to fight their way back into the game and came close with a shot from Eliott Malloy.

End result 1-0 to TCM and RDCM was happy with the 3 points, “We made it 3 out of 3 as expected, but the promotion spots are still there for the chasing pack to catch. A superb result for wortley today leaves them well in the mix, let’s see whether we can delay the Wandsworth FC celebrations and make it 4 out of 4”
