Reggae Reggae Sauce continued their winning run as of late with a comprehensive 2-0 win away from home at Hun Haters. Reggae Reggae sauce had 4 shots in the first half but had to wait until the 41st minute until the fine Derek Acorah smashed home from long range. 2 minutes after the break Cabbage Man beat the keeper from long range. It was a fine day for Sauce with the only other event being and injury to a Hun Haters player.
The press caught a word with captain Raymond Van-Barneveld “It’s a great feeling finally getting some form together and the chants of “Come on you Sauce!” from the travelling supporters were very encouraging despite how strange it may sound.
The win takes Reggae Reggae Sauce up to 4th in the league. Manager Xpertelevener said “I’m pleased we’ve got some form together and its good to not be looking over our shoulder as much. We are a decent team with some decent players and I’m pleased the’ve started turning performances into results.”
