These Charming Men ground out another solid performance at home to beat Dream Team 2-1 and keep up with the pace in the promotion race; and make it 8 wins out of 9 in recent games.
A well placed 16th minute penalty from Midfield Inspiration Jordi Rodri put the home side ahead, with the second added just 3 minutes later with a header from Linus Streicher after a pinpoint cross from Alvaro Hilliardo who was playing his first game of the season. TCM left the field at half time deservedly 2-0 up.
Both teams were evenly matched for much of a the 2nd half, with 5 minutes to go Dream Team got there goal, with a quick counterattack the scorer Jack Lightbody getting his 2nd of the campaign. A tense last few minutes, however Dream Team could not get that elusive equaliser and RDCM and his men left the pitch happy.
RDCM was interviewed after the game "A good result, There are few easy games in this division and there a pack of teams behind us snapping at our tails just waiting for us to slip up. Weve got a very tough at Mosquito Alley next at 3rd placed Alsanak FC which is yet another 6 pointer. 1 loss and we could quite easily slip out of the top 3, which would be a real blow."
He then went on to say with a big smirk on his face " But still the lads can celebrate tonight with a glass of Kaliber and be on the training pitch at 06.30 tomorrow ready to train hard for the next challenge"
