An Allan Bound inspired Area finally put Northwich Victoria to the sword as they managed to get the goals that their chances deserved.
In what was perhaps the worst performance under Carfin's leadership the Area faithfull can at least be happy with the three points gained.
"The boys were slack today and I suppose when such a young side is put out, inconsistency will play a part. I'm just glad it didn't cost us points today."
Area now get ready to welcome Glory Hornets as they look to extend their good sequence of wins.
