The paperwork was lodged at th RMI FA headquarters with barely five minutes left on the clock for the transfers of Dempsey & Coccia (out) and Herbert Stigson (in).
Carfin was happy to see Dempsey go. "Julian had an aversion to training and if you can't do it in practice conditions what chance does he have doing it for real? I wish him well for the future."
On Coccia, "The old head just couldn't settle into his new surroundings so we have taken the decision to allow him to return home."
"I've saved the best news until last with the signing of young defender Stigson. The young lad has a bright future ahead of him and I can see him becoming a rock at the heart of our defence for years to come."
