The fuming Area manager said "it was the worst performance of any team, across any league that I have been involved with."
It's hard to argue with this opinion.
Playing against a less skilled team who sent out a lot of youngsters away from home the Area boys really need to take a long hard look at themselves. Yes, promotion was a distant hope but playing like this they consider themselves lucky there is no Division 4.
Carfin must now try to reinvigorate his team for the trip to the runaway leaders, Wandsworth.
On paper the game should be close, out on the park - who knows?
