Three Lions FC are just two points off the promotion spots at the moment after a wonderful week in which they managed a 2-2 draw against third-placed Legends Of Arsenal and a 2-0 win away to Newry City.
Things were looking good for Three Lions FC at Wembley as Robin van Izu latched onto an Izu Kaka through ball and smashed the ball past David Sattler after 21 minutes. However, Shinosuke Isimaru equalised for the visitors shortly before the break, Ralf Kron providing the assist. Izu Kaka provided yet another excellent pass for Robin van Izu minutes after the restart as the hosts pulled ahead once again, but Kron took full advantage of his team's 1-man advantage as he headed in a Peng Man cross just 4 minutes after Nani was sent off.
Three Lions FC made do without Nani in their next game, though, as Zlatan Izuhimovic led the team to a 2-0 victory at Showgrounds, slotting a Robin van Izu through ball past Dominic Wellens after just 8 minutes before sealing the win inside the final 15 minutes with a stunning first-touch long range strike from an Izu Kaka pass.
"We are sitting in a wonderful position to squeeze into the top three at the moment. If not for Frank Redkard, we could be sitting in second place breathing down West Brom Strollers' necks right now. However, we now have to work hard to earn promotion. Hopefully, we can make do without Nani and Zlatan in the coming game against Juventus," said Izuka to reporters yesterday.
