West Brom Strollers had training cancelled today as players and club officials fled for their lives from a Lion, thought to have been placed at their training ground as a prank by rival team 3 Lions. It took 2 hours before a local zookeeper was able to sedate the Lion and have it removed.
Manager Dinkydave was left furious by the prank "i'm all for a bit of banter and japery but this goes beyond a joke, peoples lives were at risk. Their little but of tomfoolery has worked we were unable to do any training in preparation for tomorrows big match, but we'll be out there playing our usual style of free flowing, passing football, in order to win"
