Strollers go top with win at Newry

West Brom Strollers eased past Newry City to go top of Division one.

Strollers ran out 3-0 winners after another professional display.

Talisman Bobby Taylor got the scoring strted in the 29th minute after he headed home Richard Sneekes cross. That was Strollers only chance in anotherwise lacklustre first half. Strollers picked up after the break and were rewarded in the 66th minute when a Willie Johnston cross found Cyrille Regis unmarked who headed home. West Brom continued to dominate and scored a deserved third through the ever impressive Willie Johnston.

In his post match interview Dinkydave commented "the results great, we've picked up a win on the road against a decent side, it looks like due to the othe results we'll be top tonight, going into the next match thats important. I'm really pleased with the the way we played today, the lads are showing what their capable of"

Speaking of the management situation at promotion rivals Mexican Mafia Dinkydave commented "its a shame Jimmy has decided to leave, but people move on. I'm looking forward to pitting my wits against Josef, i doubt he could have chosen a better match to start"
