West Brom Strollers stretch their lead at the top of Division 1 to 5 points after a 4-0 demolition of Legends of Arsenal.
The away side looked out of sorts picking up 5 yellows in the first 19 minutes.Strollers took the lead in the 21st, a cheeky lob from Willie Johnstone to take his tally to 6 for the season.
West Brom came out for the second half hungry for goals and they weren't left wanting for long Cyrille Regis slotting home after 49 minutes. Just another 4 minutes later West Brom were out of sight Regis grabbing his second of the game, his 6th of the season, after good work by the in form Johnston. Younster Lee Hughes then grabbed his second of the season to complete the victory.
In his post match interview Dinkydave commented "It's a fantastic result, we played an attacking formation, we wanted goals and everyone stuck to there task, now we can reap the rewards"
West Brom again dominate the X11 with 6 representatives. But despite the result manager Dinkydave misses out on the managers award.
Strollers now face 2 tough ties against Three Lions before the return fixture against Legends of Arsenal. Good results in these next 3 matches could see West Brom Strollers take massive strides to a place in the top divison next season.
