Pop Punks one and only fan turned on the television. He flicked over to sky sports news, he'd been waiting all day for the press conference in which the clubs manager Paddy Mckeever would reveal the clubs transfer plans. Paddy walked into the room, sat down and began to speak.
"Thanks for coming but I'll keep this short and sweet, my favourite player Bosse Bong has been sold today in an exchange for Totaalvoetbal's Raymond Putnam plus cash. Its well documented our desperate need for a new defender and I've got a replacement midfielder lined up. This side is probably four or five seasons away from challenging for the title so we may as well just build now with that in mind. Bong is a fantastic player and will only get better but to ensure our survival this season we needed a defender and I'm sure in time I can adequately replace him."
Mckeever stood up as if to leave but then ran back to the microphone and quickly and very loudly announced
"Our entire strike force is for sale, particularly Tonizu, they are all fantastic players but we are desperate for a quick sale, any managers watching sky sports news today and seeing this should contact me immediately to work out a bargain deal for one of my strikers"
So what is going on at Pop Punk? We're not even sure their manager actually knows!
