Totaalvoetbal lost ground to Arsenal DB this week but did pick up a vital win at the end of it to stay within three points at the top of the table.
A 1-0 reverse at Arsenal on Tuesday left Totaal chasing as the season moves towards the halfway mark. A Robin van Persie strike on 54 minutes was enough to give Dom’s side a 1-0 win which they fully deserved.
Totaal would respond by smashing four past Smurftastic Smurfs. However, they will have counted themselves somewhat fortunate as the arrival of Iz as new manager shortly after the game will undoubtedly boost the club in the coming weeks.
Antonello Ballarin, Ramiro Verona and a brace from Shirsh Vajpayee gave the visitors the three points but they will still look for more consistency ahead of the second-half of the campaign.
