Anime's run faces stern test

After loosing for the second time this season some might have doubted Anime Allstars FC's gritt when faced with the prospect of facing the league leaders away from home. Untill the match Juventus had not dropped a single point !

So cue the Silly-Cup winners !

Anime Allstars FC are used to punching above their weight following their shock Silly-Cup win in pre-season warm up. Nothing is impossible under the eyes of manager Joshy. In a solid defensive display Anime Allstars FC became the first team to take off any points from the high flying Juventus in a 0-0 draw. John Sapienza rolled back the years in a brilliant display in goal for the Anime Allstars. This draw was after they had held Jeventus's close rivals PSV Eindhoven in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Anime came from a goal down to lead PSV 2-1 till they finally made things 2-2. Following their succesfull 0-0 draw with Juventus Anime have now done the double over St Omer. Winning 1-2 away from home and stuffing them 5-1 at home. Up next for Anime Allstars FC is another stern test when Anime host Juventus. Juventus are still 4 points clear at the top and are steam rolling their way to Division 2 next season. Joshy had this to say ahead of the match...

" We have started to string some great results together and i think our season has finally taken off. The club was elevated after taking points off Juventus who undoubtedly will seek revenge. We upset their flow and following our 0-0 draw Juventus lost their first game of the season to their rivals PSV. We are not out to do PSV any favours but we will not sit back at home we aim for promotion and i strongly believe that goal is more then in our grasp. "
