This was not a good day for Anime Allstars FC to take the bus. The Allstars lost their first game of the season in the Gents WC stadium as they lost 2-0 on the day to the Pink Bus Riders FC. Going into the match Anime Allstars were looking to make some ground up on the league leaders however the female Allstars failed to make any ground but instead made the gap bigger not smaller. Anime are now 9 points off the pace and it's still early days, to make matters worse 2 players were subbed off. Diva Misaki Kurehaa wasn't even unable to limp off and looks set to miss a couple of weeks and the other victim was Naru Narusegawa who was able to limp off. After the poor show Joshy put on a brave face as he was grilled by the local media...
" To loose like this is gutting. We were poor today and were beaten far to easy. Misaki Kurehaa will be out till the 3rd of June and Naru Narusegawa should be ok in time for the next match she only took a slight knock which is good news i guess. We have to dust ourselves down and start again now and up next is Alsancak F.C who are having a good start to the new season. In our last 2 previous meetings we remain unbeaten against Alsancak F.C and we will give them a stern test in The Hayao Miyazaki Stadium. "
