Totaal Enjoy Tough Week

Totaalvoetbal came out of a tricky week in good shape and also signed a player they had been chasing for some time.

With a double-header against The Vikings looming the news the reigning champions had appointed a new manager in Xmensch only made the task tougher.

However, Totaal would take advantage of the visitor’s poor form to defeat them 4-1 in the first game. Wiliam Ralph Dean, a brace from Antonello Ballarin and a header by Ramiro Verona ensured Justin Portway’s goal was a mere consolation for The Vikings.

In the time between the two matches Robin Meeblind completed the capture of midfielder Bosse Bong, sacrificing Raymond Putnam in the deal to capture the former Kroklund Kings star.

He would be thrown into the return match-up where an improving Vikings earned a draw. Portway would level the game after Verona had put Totaal ahead and that would be all of the scoring.

Robin Meeblind declared himself “delighted” to have signed Bong and “more than satisfied” with a four point return from the two matches which sees them two behind leaders Arsenal DB.
