OAP Pop Punk dealt Kirkbride Strollers title hopes a blow with a 3-1 win. The Strollers were again left pointless on their travels as goals from Cedric Roussel, Bosse Bong and Luca Tonizu gave the home side a comfortable win. Mark Blacklocks goal was a mere consolation for the Strollers.
Manager jazza1958 was in a foul mood when he was asked what went wrong after the match. he ranted "This display was totally unacceptable, we played as if we have nothing to aim for this season but with us only two points behind the leaders we are still in the title race. There WILL be changes for the next game against ThunderCats at The Bush. With the exception of Harrison in midfield the rest of the squad have to improve their performance by 100%. I won't accept slacker in my team and it might be time to let the youth talents show what they can do."
