Getting to know you...part 2

In the second installment of this fly on the wall series of interviews, the Pink Bus gaffer would like the good managers of the RMI to delve further into the rich tapestry of life that make up the Riders staff.

"We here at the Pink Bus have acted swiftly to show that we are all interested in football and I am eager for this to continue. We all love some hot DV action or some hardcore SQ conversation and we are keen to join the mainstream scribble instead of lurking on the outside like some kind of disease ridden tramp"

"This week I would like you all to meet one of the most important members of the Riders staff. Ladies and gentlemen, I introdude to you...Bernard (pronounced Ber-naaard) the white line machine!" he boomed.

"I am sure you have all noticed how immaculate and straight the pitch markings are here at this club. Well, that is all down to Bernard. He is a hard trainer so he is always working on his ability to draw perfectly straight white lines that other clubs are truely envious of. He is also as cool as ice, so when he is marking out that penalty spot...he doesn't let the pressure get to him. We always end up with a perfectly spherical penalty spot" he boasted

"Bernard is such a character, this one time he marked out the penalty area smaller than what he should have, it was one square yard too small, we all howled with laughter at this practical joke. He really is the heart and soul of the club" the gaffer gushed.

The manager then gave Bernard a gentle kiss on the handle and ushered him back to his cupboard.

"Right, onto further footballing matters. T'would appear we have a match this week, I am not really sure what to say about this Joshy gentleman, other than he was a lucky son of a bitch to win this seasons cup. I was viciously pushed out of the cup in the pre-lim round by the powers that be in the RMI due to my constant non-footballing conversations in the scribble. I hope that I will now be widely accepted by the admin team now that I have started to talk about football" he moaned.

The manager then left the press room and headed for local strip club "The Hard Rod" where he was expected to dance the night away with some of the performers.
