Going into Anime Allstars FC's match with FCR Cressex few would of expected nothing more then a win for the silly season heros. Having slotted 7 goals past them in their previous two meetings, so cue the unexpected. Anime Allstars FC had to fight back from a goal down to earn another draw for the Allstars. After winning the silly season cup Anime Allstars FC look hard to beat and they continued to show this quality again. Both sides had at least 5 decent efforts on goal and Anime edged the possession. It finished 1-1 after full time and Joshy gave us these words after the match...
" Its not been a great start to the season however on the flip side its not been a poor start either. We fully deserved our point today and had chances to win the match. No team is easy in this league so i knew going into the match we would have our hands full. Prior to silly season i wanted the club to be harder to beat and we have achieved that, we won the cup through fine defensive displays and again today we were too hard to beat they had their chaces to win also but we denied them the victory. "
