Hi guys, just to let you know that unfortunately Eagles won't be returning any time soon so I have taken over as admin. This is a fantastic league and joining here has much improved my love for the game so I'll try my best to follow in the footsteps of RobinMeeblind and Eagles and on the whole just let you get on with enjoying the game. I generally work from home a good 50% of the time so most days I'll be online a few times to be around to help with anything that needs doing.
A few things to sort out first though, with Eagles gone The Vikings are now available. Last seasons champions will be available for applicants within the league first. So if you fancy a shot at the top flight or just fancy a change of team then now is the time to apply. Message me if your interested in taking over and after the game on friday 11th in the RMI is the deadline for applications. The usual criteria applies, manager skill and length of time in league will be taken into account.
Also a quick reminder, if you are doing any direct transfers that involve swaps or players plus cash just send me a quick message when you do, so I know about the whole deal before confirming anything.
On a more personal note, I'm sure not 100% of managers are pleased with me being admin due to various issues, some probably a lot less true than others but that's not really relevant anyway. I'd just ask that you judge me on my behaviour here and my actions as admin as I'll always endeavour to be fair and resolve any problems to the best of my ability.
Also any managers who share the MSE with the RMI, I'd hate for any of you to become unsettled or uncomfortable due to outside influences or any "bitching" here. I don't want any bitching or moaning about the MSE or other leagues in the RMI and I'll adopt a zero tolerance policy to it so we can all just get back to being friends and enjoying a fantastic league. We're all adults here and any silly arguing is just counter productive to the RMI. I can't control what happens outside of the RMI so if people want to focus on what's going on here or try and interfere in any way then I suggest we just either ignore them or leave them to it. We've got a great league here and with everyone's help I'm sure we can make it even better by just moving on and trying to participate in the scribble and forum when you guys have the time.
Everyone is welcome in the RMI whether you are from the MSE, CPU or Mars as long as you can leave any outside problems at the door.
