Milan start well

AC Milan got off to the best possible start to the new season with a 2-0 win at the san siro on friday against a resolute Tranmere Rovers side.

After just 8 minutes new signing Humphrey Beihn playing his first game for the club had the chance to make himself hero with fans, he stepped up and lashed the ball over the bar.

The Milan fans only had to wait till 15 mins for their team to breakdown the opposition and Ricardo Kaka finished a superb reverse pass from Sean Derry to open the scoring.

On 19 mins Milan defender Paddy McCarthy was strechered off with suspected calf strain which is expected to keep him out another couple of weeks at least.

A tedious Second half was lit up by New man Humphrey Beign on 79mins who atoned the penalty miss with a 35 yard rocket which went in off the underside of the bar and gave Tranmere Rover keeper no chance of stopping it the fans started to chant his name as the referee Wanda Rinn brought the game to a finish and manager MarkieRich was clearly pleased with win as he beamed a big smile walking off down the tunnel.

Milan have a tough away game tuesday at marsielle and cathallio11 who MarkieRich has the upmost respect for and hopes the game will serve up a classic like previous matches between the two sides.
