Liverpool when on a run of winning 8 out of 9 games only losing to the vikings during this period.

The last game of the current season saw liverpool take on Pahang Utd at Anfield, The game was an anticlimax as the game finished 0-0. No major talking points. Alan Hansen got a round of applause from the crowd as he played his last game before retiring.
