Yesterdays game between Tír Eoghaín and the glory hornets at Párc Oílean ná Ghuíl wasnt exactly a great advertisement for Division 3 or football in general, but it would be McCanns team who would take the spoils in this drab affair.
Both teams seemed to tactically have each othered pegged leaving the game decided by 1 goal comeing from the home side through Jim Hotte. During a post game interview McCann seemed relatively pleased.
"Well its progress its another 3 points in the bag and a 3rd win on the trot, it wasnt a great game although we did have more chances to put the game away we also had two new signings out there today which will take time to gel into the side, generally im happy aslong as we are winning so i can't complain about the 3 points and congrats to the hornets for putting it up to us today it was a very tight encounter!"
