A key point against White Hawk

After a the loss to Bill Murray earlier in the week TCM entered the game against second placed White Hawk FC with a sense of nervous anticipation.

Every game at the moment has so much to play for in the battle for the third remaining promotion spot in Division 2.

In a closely fought contest it was White Hawk who took an early lead through an Adam Donohue rocket on 6 minutes.

Loran Rajabi whose terrier like performance inspired his side to bounce back got the equaliser after a neat throughball cut throught the Hawks defence.

The fightback was shortlived however, Jerry Raafenberg putting the away side back in front straight from the kick off.

Both side probed to find a way through, however TCM got their equaliser in a tight second half with their only chance Jordi Rodri scoring a great header in the 77th minute to the delight of the home fans.

RDCM was seemingly content with a point at full time; “A good performance today, however we’ve got a difficult run in now, we cannot afford to drop any more points, if we do our promotion chances will be all but over”

TCM now lie 4th in the table, 1 point behind 3rd placed Lone Wanderers, with only 3 points currently separating 3rd and 6th.

Next up Futsal FC…..
