'Our defence played very well indeed, limiting Bonkers to just the 2 goals, both of which were from outside the area. The only disappointment is the result. Overall our players were outclassed, I don't blame them for that, they have more heart than the Bonkers team, and heart is more valuable than skill. At least we went down with pride in not conceeding a vast amount of goals.'
Surely the 2-0 defeat away from home is enough to show that The Lone Wanderers will struggle out of the division next season. Results went in their favour though and they are still just 1 point behind These Charming Men in 3rd place.
'The next few games will reveal all, obviously we are still smarting from the defeat, but we need the goals to start flowing again and pick up our promotion challenge again.'
