West Brom Stroll to win but at a cost

West Brom out played Three Lions to maintain their 100% away record.Strollers dominated the match and could and should have made the score more emphatic.

A 17th minute injury to Billy Bassett will put a blemish on the result as he'll be out for at least 3 games. He was replaced by Flying Scotsman Willie Johnston.Somehow Strollers failed to score in the opening 45 minutes despite having several chances and dominating posession.

The second half was 11 minutes old when WBS suffered their second casualty, Lee Hughes limped off, scans later showed the injury to be light and will be recovered in a day or so. Regis was called from the bench.

Strollers finally made the breakthrough in the 63rd minute Bryan Robsons Pinpoint cross finding Taylor who headed past Casillas.

The result was put beyond any doubt on 81 minutes when Willie Johnston let fly from distance and send the travelling support into raptures.

Dinky was pleased with the the performance "We'd have beaten anyone today, it just all came together. The Defence was awsome, the midfield creative and the two guys up top ran their socks off. We need to take this into our next few fixtures and put those points on the board"

Indeed the defence was awsome restricting the Lions strikers to just 1 chance.

WBS players dominate the X11 with 8 players named, All 4 defenders coming from the Strollers team!!

Good times ahead for Strollers fans (you're only as good as your last result!!)
