Stanley Out Of Luck Again

Stanley slipped to there 2nd defeat on the run with 2-1 defeat at AC Milan , it was a much improved performance from Stanley but luck was not on there side again.

Manager Markham33 rang the changes before the kick off with forwards Garry Molseley and Alan Martindale dropped to the bench , Thorbjorn Lind kept his place but the big shock was the debut of 19 year old youth team player Julien Motson son of legend BBC comentator John Motson.

In a tight first half Milan edged in front 2-1 , with Motson watched by his dad capping a fine first half with a thunderbolt strike . Stanley were out for the second half long before Milan fired up ready to take the game to Milan , but disaster struck on 51 minutes when midfield superstar Olli Kaskinen was seriously injured, following a long delay Kaskinen was stretchered off the pitch. Stanley lost there stride and a could not find the target .

Then to rub salt into the wounds in the 5th minute of injury time Lind smashed a strike into the cross bar. Stanley were out of luck again, having lost Defender Matts Wallman have now lost Midfielder Kaskinen all Stanley need now is to lose a Forward to injury in there next match.
