Town News
In a bold move Morley manager Leeg21 kept his players guessing by waiting until a minute before kick-off to reveal the tactics for tonights game. It seemed to pay off as they ran out winners after a flying start to the match, going two up in 7 minutes.
Wiltshire had a goal disallowed on 5 minutes, Wade Fairchild chipped Gaughan but he was clearly offside when he picked up the ball, Morley went on the attack straight from the resulting free kick, Adolf Munzberg crossed for Arnautu who flicked his header past Hogg.
Only a minute later Morley were two up, Christopher Love headed in Kafka's cross to send the home fans into raptures, two minutes later the home fans were silenced, Bob Blacks long range curler beat Gaughan all ends up to pull one back for the Warriers.
Both teams were creating chances at will and play went from end to end as both teams tried to assert themselves and dominate the game, Wiltshire almost equalised through Martyn Stamford, the Morley defender deflected a wayward shot towards his own goal and only an excellent reaction save by Gaughan spared the defenders blushes.
Val Sheridan burst down the wing and crossed for Love to head in his second of the match, it looked like Morley would go in 3-1 at the break but Elliot was left unmarked to head in on 45 minutes. It was to be the last meaningful action of the game, both teams failed to create another chance in the second half so it was Morley who walked away with three points.
