A fluke, that's what it was

Three Lions FC manager Izuka rightly called FC Greatness' latest win over his side a fluke as the hosts won by the slightest of margins in this latest RM Invitational match. The hosts won by way of a Faust Baronchelli long range effort in the 52nd minute but Izuka has video evidence to show that the goal should never have stood.

"There were a couple of handballs and other fouls in the build-up to that goal. In fact, with the vast amount of fouls prior to that goal, I could tie them all up and give you a box of assorted fouls! However, to referee Irre Levant and his linesmen, I guess all that was irrelevant, though it sure looked relevant to me when Mello was just slightly offside and the linesmen were waving their flags to the referee as if Levant's pants were on fire. It's no matter, though, we'll show them real greatness in the return leg at Wembley," said Izuka after the game.
