This pre-season, Flare United have made only one transfer deal so far in the form of Craig Elliston's departure to a small Welsh team. However, a United official has leaked a little bit of info to the media which has caused quite a stir.
"Izuka has got a couple of big deals lined up, two huge names, a defender and a midfielder. He may leave the club broke if the deals go through, but those deals should carry us through the season as well," said the anonymous official to a reporter in a secluded corner of a bar yesterday.
Meanwhile, United are still going strong in the RMI Cup, though a coming match against Santos FC may well prove to be their downfall.
