Fond Farewell

Tonight David Rocastle will retire from Xpert eleven, Only signed two seasons ago by FMR and Gooners... David had a massive influence in both their promotions and title winning seasons. This season he scored four goals but they were big match winning goals and it was his experince that saw Gooners through troubled times.

His best performance at Gooners found him rated as 12... which is quite astonishing as he has only ever been a 7 skill player since arriving.

His career in RMI/Gooners was a good one playing 34 games in two seasons, collecting 12 points along the way and scoring 7 goals. The pacy right sided midfielder will always be remembered as one the players that made history in a Gooners shirt...

Signed two seasons ago for 1 million econ, the manager was quoted as saying:

"we got all the return we expected from david on the pitch and imo it was money very well spent and we wish him all the best whatever he decides to do".

Cesc Fabregas is expected to be Davids immediate replacement on the right, whilst Borja is the man expected to provide the experience needed for the younger players to get enough match experience. Although FMR has made previous comments about tracking a certain midfielder... no one is currently sure wether it is experience, youth or skill he is looking to add to his current crop.
