Totaalvoetbal spent the past week attempting to finalise their squad for the upcoming season.
First in the door was experienced defender Raimundo Tena from Bristol City. Bringing in no little talent to add to his experience it is thought that Tena will provide a direct replacement for the now retired Jaap Cruz.
Totaalvoetbal were then boosted on Thursday as their youth coach informed them of a special talent waiting to join the first team. Marino van Buren made the step up and is rated as an 8m superstar already with a penchant for hitting wonder free-kicks. His arrival certainly captured the imagination of the fans who flocked to the training ground to catch an early glimpse of their new player.
Then, earlier today, Geraldo Ayala came in to provide cover for Ard Leemans in goal. A steady ‘keeper, Ayala is coming into his prime, and will give reliable cover should anything happen to the number one cat.
