Shock score for Splott

Splott made it to the last eight in the cup thanks to a shock 8-2 win over FC Greatness. With both teams going for the win the first half was end to end, with new James Gränström going close on a couple of occasions in search of debut goal. At 2-2 the game was either teams to win, but it was Splott who put the result beyond doubt 7 minutes into the half thanks to a superb hat-trick from Gränström who was obviously just warming up before. With Splott dominating the goals continued to fly in, with nearly every shot resulting in a goal. Gränström ended up with the match ball and man of the match in his first game and the player looks like a really classy signing from CM. Splott fans are hoping they can go all the way in the cup after the lousy season just gone.
