Real Madrid have released the following press statement
"On 28/7/2010 the board have relunctantly been taken over by a consortium of Yorkhire butchers who have renamed the team Barnsley Chop FC and have appointed a whippet trainer as the new manager". A spokesman for the consortium said "We believe and trust Steve and we know he will bring success to the club. We have arranged a friendly for Friday and the consortium will provide free pies for all the fans"
